At the very heart of our mission is the "Access to Higher Education Scholarship”, a program born from a simple yet profound vision. What began humbly with just two scholarships of $100 each has blossomed into something truly remarkable. Through the unwavering generosity of public fundraising from our incredible Member sponsors and community, this vital initiative has evolved exponentially, growing from $400 to an astounding $20,000, and now proudly reaching up to $60,000 in scholarships!
This success is a testament to the passionate collaboration of our Scholarship Committee, alongside the dedicated staff and teachers of the Jefferson Union High School District. Together, we've formed a high-energy team committed to delivering high-quality programs and meaningful Scholarship Awards. A true highlight is the annual "Access to Higher Education" in-person check ceremony, where each deserving student receives their scholarship directly from their sponsoring community partner – a moment of pure joy and connection that beautifully underscores the collective spirit of support nurturing the “BIG” dreams of our graduating Daly City, Colma, Broadmoor resident high school seniors.
